1In short

  1. AI tools assist in preparing the articles.

  2. No advertiser or outside party chooses or changes what is published.

  3. Errors reported to us are corrected.

2Practice

How we publish

Plain statements of current practice.

  1. What we publish

We publish financial education in the form of guides, and calculators that run in your browser. The California state-registered investment adviser behind the site is the publisher of all of it, and it writes for the general reader, not for any one client.

  2. Preparing the articles

The articles are put together with AI assistance: the tools draft them and shape their structure. They go out under the firm's name with no individual byline, so read each one as the firm's general education and not as one person's opinion. AI-assisted drafting can introduce errors, which is why the corrections route below matters.

  3. Figures and dates

A figure in a guide is general information and can go out of date. Confirm the current rules and your own numbers before you act on it.

  4. Calculators

The assumptions behind each calculator are listed on its page, and the calculation happens in your browser. A result illustrates those assumptions; it is not a projection of what will happen to you.

  5. No advertising

The site shows no advertising. No outside party picks a topic, pays for a page or changes one, and nothing on a page is a paid placement or an endorsement by anyone else.

  6. What the guides are not

A guide is education. It is not personal advice, and reading one does not make you a client of the firm.

  7. Corrections

Found an error? Report it through the contact page, naming the page and the figure so we can locate it quickly. Reported errors are corrected.
